News: Denny's Brings Back "Build Your Own" Pancakes

Denny's has brought back their "Build Your Own" Pancakes for a limited time this summer. It's similar to the "Build Your Own" Burger on the regular menu, but with pancakes obviously.

The promotion boasts over 300 different possible combinations. You can start with choosing a short stack (two pancakes) or tall stack (three) of buttermilk or wheat pancakes and then choose from a number of mix-ins and toppings.

Mix-ins include glazed pecans, diced bacon, chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, and blueberries.

Toppings include fresh strawberries, fresh banana slices, caramel sauce, hot fudge, peanut butter sauce, and whipped cream.

All "Build Your Own" Pancakes come with two eggs, two strips of bacon or links of sausage, and a choice of either hash browns, seasoned red-skinned potatoes, or grits. There's also an option to hold the sides and get just the pancakes.

The Build Your Own Pancake promotion will run for four weeks and prices start at $3.99.

The diner chain is also offering three new dishes: the "Build Your Own" Sampler, Prime Rib Cobb salad, and the USDA select Sirloin Steak.

Here's the TV spot for the return of "Build Your Own" Pancakes i.e "'Build Your Own' Pancakes 2":
