Around the World: KFC China Uses Egg as their Newest Wraps

KFC China takes a cue from local street food with their new Egg Pancake Wraps as a breakfast option. Rather than being made with mostly flour, the egg pancake shares more in common with an omelette and looks to be made with mostly egg, some green onions, water, and flour.

The Egg Pancake Wraps come in two varieties: Fried Breadstick, and Smoked Chicken.

The Fried Breadstick Egg Pancake Wrap features a Chinese-style airy, fried breadstick, shredded dried pork (pork sung), and hoisin sauce wrapped in an egg pancake. It's protein on the outside with starch in the middle!

The Smoked Chicken Egg Pancake Wrap features a filling of sliced smoked chicken sausage, lettuce, and mayo.

The Fried Breadstick Egg Pancake Wrap goes for 9.5 yuan (~$1.55 US), while the Smoked Chicken Egg Pancake Wrap is a little more at 11 yuan (~$1.79 US).
