News: Starbucks - New Grocery-Store-Only Bright Sky Blend

Starbucks is offering a new Bright Sky Blend packaged coffee that's only available in grocery stores (you won't find it in Starbucks stores or their online store).

The coffee was spotted in early February on Starbucks superfan blog Starbucks Melody.

The new coffee is a blonde (their word for "light") roast that the company describes as "mild and welcoming. The Latin American beans were roasted just enough to reveal their nutty flavor and touch of acidity, culminating in a crisp and pleasant finish."

Bright Sky Blend is available in nationally in the US where ever you might buy groceries in 12-oz bags of ground coffee as well as 10-count K-Cup packs. The suggested retail price is $8.99 for a 12-oz bag and $9.99 for a 10-count box of K-Cups.

With the addition, Starbucks now offers three different blonde roasts of coffee: Veranda Blend, Willow Blend (which is now, for whatever reason, called Aria Blend in grocery stores but Willow online and in Starbucks stores), and Bright Sky Blend.
