Review: Pepperidge Farm - S'mores Goldfish Grahams

Pepperidge Farm's S'more Goldfish Grahams feature a combination of regular and chocolate-flavored goldfish-shaped graham crackers plus smaller goldfish-shaped marshmallows.

I bought a 6.6-oz package for $1.50 on sale.

These are pretty nice and are vaguely reminiscent of s'mores in a way that a cereal might be.

Beyond the regular honeyed graham crackers, there are chocolate-flavored ones made with cocoa for a decent chocolaty finish. I wonder if it would have been better to have chocolate-covered, or more likely, fudge-covered Goldfish graham crackers instead? Probably not though since it would cost more and create more of a mess (this is a product aimed at children after all).

The marshmallows are the dehydrated variety of the type you'd find in Lucky Charms (I'm guessing they're more shelf-stable and less prone to melt). If you haven't had Lucky Charms or something similar, they're very light and dry, and slowly disintegrate when moisture is added (i.e. when you put them in your mouth).

Overall, Pepperidge Farm's S'more Goldfish Grahams were fairly enjoyable with a combination of (very) familiar flavors that doesn't really tread on new ground. While it's not much on the s'mores front, it makes for a delectable variety of sweet Goldfish graham crackers and marshmallows. These would probably work pretty well in milk like cereal.
