There's a strong salty buttery smell to these that feels more at home in a popcorn bag than one for cookies. Thankfully, the taste was nothing like popcorn.
Beyond the airy, lightly crispy biscuits was a very nice, mellow salty caramel flavor that wasn't too sweet and was creamy rather than buttery. It paired very well with the milk chocolate without being overwhelmed.
Overall, Pepperidge Farm's new Dulce de Leche Milanos are pretty tasty. They provide just a slight twist to the classic chocolate-caramel combo that makes for some good cookies.
