Review: Sonic - Pineapple Upside Down Master Blast

Sonic's Pineapple Upside Down Master Blast features vanilla ice cream mixed with pineapple, salted caramel, and pie crust pieces.

A 10-oz, Mini-sized cup is about $3.39, but I received this one courtesy of Sonic.

I thought this would be tangy like sherbet but the pineapple was more of a muted flavor that added more sweetness than anything. It's a good choice if you want pineapple coupled with creamy vanilla ice cream without much in the way of tartness.

I didn't catch much in the way of salted caramel. And by that, I mean it didn't seem salty at all and the caramel was very light.

There were plenty of pie crust pieces for those of you who like crunchy stuff in your ice cream. They came in good-sized chunks and were super crunchy.

Overall, Sonic's Pineapple Upside Down Master Blast was enjoyable but didn't bring a pineapple upside down cake to mind. Maybe a pineapple cream pie though...
