News: McDonald's - Dipped Cones for a Limited Time

Participating McDonald's restaurants are offering chocolaty Dipped Cones for a limited-time as part of a chocolate-themed promotion. Dipped Cones are McDonald's regular vanilla soft serve cones, but dipped in a chocolaty shell that hardens around the soft serve.

If Dipped Cones at McDonald's seems familiar to you, it's because they've offered them before at some locations. Price may vary, but should be a little over a buck at most locations. You'll want to call ahead for this one as not all McDonald's are participating.

  1. The McDonalds in my area have had this for months.

49 cents for a vanilla cone, 79 cents for chocolate dipped.

  2. So cheap! I think the regular vanilla cone is a buck here...

  3. Also, I dont know if this is a nationwide thing, but the Mcdonalds by me has a sign by the drive thru that says "add 2 slices of bacon to any sandwich for $1."

  4. I think that varies with location. $1 is kinda pricey for McDonald's razor-thin bacon though.

  5. Pricey is what I thought!  If it was thick n crispy it may be ok, but its thin and limp, gross.

  6. Dip the cones in pink slime and revive the meat processing industry.

  7. Saw this about five years ago, I think that's when it was introduced.

  8. The chocolate dipped cones are great. Wish I could have one every day. The pink slime remark is ridiculous and doesn't even make sense.
Thanks for the cone McDonalds. Now get to work on more healthy eating choices.

  9. $1.39 - $1.59 depending on which Boston-area McDonalds location. A deal, considering a plain medium soft serve at our local place is $4.59!

  10. Ouch! I don't think I've ever seen soft serve for $4.59.
